Discover some of our emerging journey as The Kairos Movement and how we got to where we are today...

Here's a bit about us...
We are creating new forms of community, connection, and spiritual exploration for those seeking an alternative to traditional church
We are not a church as such, but a small grassroots movement within The Methodist Church - a collection of diverse online communities dispersed around Yorkshire and the UK
A co-created faith collective
What makes us different?
- you shape what we do
- we change and evolve
- exploring together new ways of being church
- space for stories and honest conversation
- we're not "one size fits all"
- we're predominantly online
Most people dip in and out - alongside engaging elsewhere. You don't have to give up belonging elsewhere
As Mark puts it:
"I like that it’s more like a sailing dingy than an oil tanker, can tack and adapt. It’s inclusive, able to keep to the simple truths and not be a slave to outdated methods. It’s dialogue not monologue - it’s learning how to think not being taught what to think"
If we don't have what you're looking for, find some like-minded people in our community to help create it!
Journey with us for a short while, or become part of the core faith community. It's up to you how much you want to engage. There's no need to become a member, there's no cost, there's no requirement to come every week.
