Thank you for all your help and support during March. The Lord's Larder was able to help a total of 819 people. That figure breaks down as 491 adults and 328 children, a total of 158 families who received one of 363 Lord's Larder Food Parcels sent out last month. Thank you to everyone who gave to the Lord's Larder food bank last month, it's only with your support that we were able to help so many people. Thank you! The list below shows the items we are currently short of.

Want to write to your MP? Template below!

Dear [Title and Surname],
I am writing as a resident of your constituency to express my deep concern about the ongoing housing crisis and its impact on individuals, families, and communities locally and across the country.
Many people are struggling with high rents, insecure tenancies, overcrowded or unsuitable housing, and the growing risk of homelessness. These pressures are affecting people’s health, wellbeing, and ability to work, study, and participate fully in their communities.
I believe that a key part of the solution is a renewed commitment to building genuinely affordable social homes at scale. Social housing provides long‑term, stable, and affordable homes, and is essential for meeting housing need, reducing homelessness, and easing pressure on the private rented sector and public services.
I am therefore asking you to:

Speak up publicly in support of increasing investment in social housing
Advocate for policies that enable councils and housing associations to build more social homes
Support long‑term funding and planning certainty for social housing development

I would welcome hearing your views on this issue and what steps you are taking, or plan to take, to support the delivery of more social homes.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for your continued work on behalf of our community.
Yours sincerely,
[Your Name]

We’ve seen some posts this week which publicly made fun of someone struggling. Here’s a reminder that kindness is powerful, and there’s always more going on in a person’s life than we can see. ✌🏻
