Join Repair Café Yateley — brought to you by The Yateley Society — on 12th September for our Vacuum Cleaner Workshop.

Bring your vacuum along and learn how to tackle some of the most common problems, including:

blocked filters and pipes
tangled brush rolls
worn belts
loss of suction

You’ll pick up simple, practical maintenance skills that could save you the cost of replacing a perfectly repairable machine.

Exciting news

🎉 Exciting News about Repair Café Yateley! 🎉

Since launching back in February, word is spreading and our repairs and welcoming café (run by the WI) have become popular with our great community. Thanks to your amazing support (and our last record-breaking session), we've outgrown the space at Yateley Industries!

To make it easier for even more residents to join us, we're excited to announce that we're moving to two great new venues which have given the space to expand, with great facilities:

⛪ St. Swithun's Church (Firgrove Road, Yateley)
⛪ St. Barnabus Church (Brinn's Lane, Blackwater)

We’ll be alternating between the two locations each month so everyone across our area can easily pop in.

First Stop: St. Barnabus Church on 12th September 10am-1pm.

We don't charge for repairs but we rely on donations to cover our venue hire, insurance and other running costs.

🛠️ Special launch: Alongside our usual repairs, on 12th September at 10am, we’re launching the first in a series of workshops, this one to teach you the simple steps you can take to keep your vacuum cleaner working smoothly and without loss of suction. Look out for further information soon on how you can book for this workshop on Repair Café Yateley's page soon.

This week is our Staycation - a holiday at home. This Sunday we are opening up our grounds for a community fun day. There is no charge, we would love you to join us. Come and leave as you please. .

We have a range of events and activities planned for the week including a Cream Tea, Twilight Walk, Teddy Bears Picnic, Community Fun Day and a trip to the seaside. We still have a handful of tickets left to our coach trip to Littlehampton and its not too late to book. Next week we are hosting a range of holiday activities including cream teas, twilight walks, trips to the seaside, teddy bears picnic and a Community Fun day. The events are open to all (although a few are now fully booked).
