Christingle services remind us that Jesus is the Light of the world.
Tonight's service at St Andrews certainly gave us a lovely start to Advent. Oranges, ribbons, sweets, candles and children's voices. From our version of Show me the way to Shine for Jesus (to the tune of Amarillo) to Away in a manger. It was all there, together with a chance to use the symbol of the orange to share some of our hopes for the world.
Thanks to all involved.

The Gospel Choir were back on Saturday.
A wonderful evening was had by all. Wine and canapes added to the enjoyment and thanks to all that contributed.
The Gospel Choir helped us launch our major works scheme in 2017, and this week helped us celebrate the fact that we can now host such marvellous events.
Thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund too!

Songs of Praise in the evening sunshine was greatly enjoyed by all who love a good hymn.
