🔥🕊️ Stories, prayer, baking and lots of fun at JAM this week!

We explored the story of Pentecost and discovered how the Holy Spirit came to Jesus’ disciples, giving them courage and power to share God’s love with others.

We brought the story to life through drama, watched a Lego retelling of Pentecost, lit candles during prayer while listening to Rest on Us, and reflected on how God’s Spirit is with us today.

The children also got creative baking flame cookies and enjoyed a transformation spotting game before finishing with lots of singing and dancing to Move by Becky and Nick Drake!

🍳🐟 Breakfast, crafts, stories and lots of fun at JAM this week!

We shared breakfast together, heard about the miraculous catch of fish, discovered the meaning behind the Christian fish symbol and got creative making our own clay fish decorations. Watoto choir visit:
Our JAM families recently attended the Watoto Children’s Choir performance at Soul Church. The evening was filled with vibrant culture, inspiring stories, and wonderful music. We sponsor two children through Watoto, and it was truly special to connect with their wider mission and celebrate the evening together! 🥰

What a lovely session! 😃
The children brought the resurrection story to life, acting out when Jesus appeared to His disciples. We’ve had some really special moments recently! 💛

Our JAM children took part in a sponsored walk in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, raising an amazing £414 – what a fantastic achievement! It was a lovely day for a walk, with lots of encouragement, community spirit, and even a few treats along the way.

We also enjoyed a fun Beetle Drive fundraiser in support of the Watoto children we sponsor. There was a lot of laughter during this friendly competition – and we were so pleased to raise over £100.

A big thank you to everyone who supported, donated, and came along – we’re so grateful for you all! 😊
