⚠️ Amber Weather Warning ⚠️

Due to the amber weather warning for Wrexham forecast for tonight and into tomorrow morning, there is a possibility that school may need to close tomorrow.

Please keep checking our school website, emails, and this page for any updates.

Making this kind of decision in advance is extremely difficult. The weather can be very unpredictable, and we do not want to inconvenience families unnecessarily. However, we feel it is only fair and sensible to forewarn you now, so that you have time today to make any necessary arrangements should we decide that closing is the safest option.

✅ A final decision will be made before 7:30 am tomorrow morning.

As always, safety comes first. Our priority is ensuring that our children, families, and staff can travel to and from school safely. We sincerely hope that we will be able to open as normal, but we need to be prepared for all possibilities.

We're looking to launch a new Mission Hub Church later this year in the county of Wrexham and are seeking a Hub Leader for the churches of Gwersyllt and Pentre Broughton. You'll be a collaborative and missional priest who is passionate about proclaiming the Gospel afresh in this generation. You will have the opportunity to both continue the current patterns of worship, but also introduce new forms of worship and experiment with new ways of being church that will draw in the next generation of disciples. We’ve been very busy in the last week, Christmas table/ door decoration workshop and then decorating our church ready for Our Christmas services. Thank you to everyone involved Merry Christmas.

AND THEN THERE WAS LIGHT🎄⭐️💡🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄

We want to give a huge thank you to all who supported us at the Minera Church Light switch on Saturday night, you made the effort that goes into these events truly worth it. We all really appreciated the fresh warm pizza kindly donated by The Royal Oak Kebab house in Coedpoeth for the second year, and Alan’s mulled wine on a cold wet night. Another thank you, really needs To go to Tesco Wrexham store for the amazing donation of flowers and plants and selection boxes (that made Santa smile) and The Village Bakery Minera who donated a fabulous hamper for the raffle the lucky winner will be well fed for a good while!
