Tomorrow, Saturday 7th June at 12:30PM, Rev Fr Nicholas Enzyma Akuma will be celebrating his 25th Priestly Anniversary at St Mary’s Cathedral, Wrexham.

The mass will be officiated by Rt Rev Bishop Peter Brignall.

Followed by refreshments and entertainments at the hall afterwards.

All are welcome to witness and celebrate his Silver Priestly Anniversary.

April 18, 2024 “Good Friday” WAY OF THE CROSS TO PANTASAPH Special Announcement:

FOR THOSE TRAVELLING BY BUS:

Our assembly area to be picked up will be at the Wrexham Bus Station (King Street).

8:00 - 8:15am - assembly time
8.15am - Departure to Pantasaph

ARRIVAL TO PANTASAPH:
Our assembly area will be at the car park ground at the Monastery of the Pantasaph Franciscan Friary.

For those travelling by car, please meet us at the assembly area for the “Briefing of the readers per station”.

10.00am - Starting time for the Way of the Cross

After the last station we will proceed to the Lourds Grotto - to follow the lead.

12:00pm - refreshments at the hall.

1:00pm - Departure back to Wrexham

2.30pm - in Wrexham Cathedral for the Passion of the Lord.

3.00pm - Passion of the Lord/ Seven (7) last words at the Wrexham Cathedral

I have spoken to Father Nicholas and he agreed to park our cars at the Cathedral.

NOTE: Make sure to Log in at the Machine to avoid car park notification charges.

Please bring your own “Baon” for refreshments / lunch after the activity before departing back to Wrexham.

Songs and assignments for readers to be assigned on the day.

Bus Fare: £10 per person to be collected on the day.

NOTE:
Please be on time as the Bus is not allowed to stay at the bus station for more than 10 minutes otherwise, they will be charged.

A glimpse of last year's Makhel Mass (2023) ✨

A reminder for this year's Makhel Mass this coming Saturday:

Mass starts at 12:00PM followed by refreshments and a whole program filled with dancing, singing, and performances from our different communities at the Hall!

NOTE: The Filipino community is collecting £10 per person as agreed to cover the expenses for decorations and refreshments. As a Filipino tradition, everyone is also encouraged to bring their own offertory gifts for the mass.

Kindly note that the refreshments will not cover dinner. It was agreed that each community would only provide food tasting and delicacies. Apologies in advance. However, refreshments will still be available throughout the day!

17th FEBRUARY, SATURDAY at 12:00 noon
Annual Mass in celebration of MARRIAGE and MARRIED LIFE with Bishop Peter
- Annual renewal of Vows
- Special blessing for engaged couples due to be married in 2024

All are welcome
Refreshments afterwards at the Hall.

Please confirm to me if you are willing to attend the mass for the annual renewal of vows to have the estimated number for the buffet.

or if you’re celebrating a special anniversary (1st, 10th, 25th, 40th, 50th and 60th) and would like to receive a blessing from Bishop Peter.
