St Richards Church, Maybridge

On 11th October during our Harvest Festival service, the Archdeacon of Chichester, The Venerable Tom Carpenter will re-dedicate the church to the glory of God 60 years after the foundation stone was laid.

You are warmly invited to join us. The service is at 9am and will be focussed on giving thanks for creations and the food we eat alongside giving thanks for 60 years of St Richard's Maybridge.

Because it is Harvest Festival, everyone is invited to bring in-date non-perishable foods and other essential items to donate to Turning Tides who are working to tackle homelessness in Worthing.

We are planning to have a display of knitted poppies at the church for Remembrance Sunday. This is where we need your help. Obviously we will need a lot of poppies if we are going to make a spectacular display. We would like as many people as possible to knit or crochet poppies. All completed poppies can be left in the office down the side of the church BN12 6HZ 9-1pm Mon-Fri or posted through the letterbox. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Our celebrations continue this evening, with a concert with Sussex Gruffs Male Voice Choir.

Thia evening (Saturday 13th June), at 7.30pm, Sussex Gruffs Male Voice Choir will perform in St. Richard's Church, singing a variety of genres, including popular songs, show tunes, classical music, traditional Sussex Songs and Jazz.

Tickets are now limited so please do secure yours before arrival in case they all sell out.

Funds raised will go towards essential maintenance works within St. Richard's Church and church hall.

Follow the story of Jeremiah Mouse as he prepares for the arrival of his friends who are coming to celebrate St. Richard's 60th birthday 💎

Mouse Trail booklets can be collected inside the church and cost just 30p. It includes Jemeriah's story, fun facts about each of the mice & handy images to help you complete the trail.

Complete the trail and you'll receive a small prize, gifted by The Little Play Village.
