We spent our last couple of Gatherings reflecting and sharing on what we have enjoyed and achieved together at Parklands Community Church. Here are some of our memories. What are yours?

Although we are stopping our regular activites here at Parklands Community Church, this is not goodbye.

The people that make up the church still live in our communities here in Parklands, Flowerdown and Locking Village, and we continue to love and care for our neighbours around us.

Pop-Up Cafe and Sunday Gathering may have come to an end, but our heart is still for the wider Parklands community to be:

* Rooted in God
* Growing as a family
* Flourishing as a community

Our hope and prayer is that you will continue to grow and thrive where you are planted, wherever that may be.

So this is not goodbye. You'll still see us around. And if you want a chat, let us treat you to a coffee.

Please note that Locking Summer Fair this weekend is CANCELLED.

Locking Summer Fair has been cancelled due to the weather forecast for Saturday 15 July - 40-50mph gusts of wind and 70% thundery showers - Apologies everyone but unfortunately we have no control over the weather 😞

And that's goodbye from our Parklands Pop-Up Cafe. Thank you for all of your love and support over the past five years. We hope you have made as many good friends as we have, and will still see you all about in the community.

It is with sadness that we at Parklands Community Church announce that from the end of July, Parklands Pop-Up Cafe and our Sunday Gatherings will be closing.

This was not an easy decision to make, but it is one that we feel is necessary at this time. Running community events is a lot of work, requiring a lot of time, energy, and dedication. Having served in the community for more than 10 years, our team has had increased commitments in our personal lives. These commitments have made it increasingly difficult to find the time and energy to keep the church running.

We want to thank you all for your support of the cafe over the years. We have truly enjoyed serving our community and providing a space for people to come together and connect. We hope to continue to see you about the community.
