Christ Church is your church in the heart of Gateford and Worksop. It is our desire to be a community of grace - loving God and Neighbour.

Christ Church is one of the newer churches in Worksop, designed as a place of worship and a centre for midweek activities which include Mums & Toddlers, Youth Groups, and Senior Citizens. It is an active fellowship in the evangelical tradition within the Church of England, in Southwell Diocese, in Nottingham. Please feel free join us for services at: 9am, 11am and 6.30pm

Still smiling from ear to ear thinking about Sunday! 🌾

If you missed it, our Harvest of the Found wasn’t just any regular church production, the kids literally built the entire set from scratch, and every single part of the performance was done by them.

We journeyed through some massive stories together. The kids brought the Parable of the Lost Sheep, the Prodigal Son, and the journey of the seeds to life on stage, reminding us all of what it really means to be sought after and brought home. Because at its heart, Harvest of the Found is an open invitation: no matter how far off track you feel, it’s a reminder that everyone can be found.

It was just so special to watch them worship God through the arts. Our prayer is simply that these little ones keep walking in His ways.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

A huge thank you to the parents for trusting us, to our brilliant volunteers who rolled up their sleeves, and to every single person who came along to support us. We couldn’t have done it without you. 💛

We’ve officially wrapped Day 4 of Art Hub: The Harvest of the Found, and what a week of creation, connection, and growth it has been! From energy-filled dance sessions to colorful crafts and drama, the kids have brought so much joy into this space.

Huge shoutout to our incredible team of volunteers and teachers holding down the daily rhythm, and to all the parents trusting us with your amazing young creators every day!

The harvest of the found - dance classes

Attention kids! Are you ready to dazzle and shine? Join our vibrant and talented group of children this August to learn and perform some amazing choreography for our upcoming Havest of the Found performance. This is your chance to express yourself, make new friends, and be part of an unforgettable and magical experience that you won't want to miss! We are thrilled to invite children and teenagers to join our upcoming performing arts project: The Harvest of the Found!

Whether your child loves to move, act, sing, or get hands-on with arts and crafts, we have something for them. Over a couple of weeks, we’ll be exploring dance, drama, and craft, all building up to a very special final performance during our church service on Sunday 23rd August 2026.
Here is everything you need to know about the schedule and activities:

Schedule & Activities

Dance & Drama Classes (10th August – 23rd August)

Ages 4–7: 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Ages 8–12: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Big Craft Days (Scenery Making)
Monday 10th August: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Monday 17th August: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Choir & Band (All Ages)
Sundays: Held for one hour directly following our 11:00 am service.

How to Register:

Spaces are limited, so please secure your child's spot as soon as possible. To register, simply send an email to [email protected] with the following details:

1. Child's full name and age

2. Parent/Guardian name and emergency contact number

3. The sessions your child will be attending (Dance & Drama Ages 4–7 / Dance & Drama Ages 8–12 / Big Craft Days / Choir & Band)

4. Photography Consent: Please state whether you *consent* or *do not consent* to your child being photographed/filmed during rehearsals and the final performance for church social media and promotional use.
