Wonderful to baptise and confirm these three new disciples at St Martin’s this morning. The congregation is a beautiful mix of cultures and backgrounds with Portuguese and Farsi as well as English in the service. A reminder that the church is God’s global family

Of all the meetings and engagements that I’ve had in Ukraine, it was worshipping with the small, faithful congregation of the Anglican church in Kyiv that was the most moving. This little community, who keep on gathering in the middle of this terrible war to support each other, to pray and worship, are a powerful sign of faith, hope and love. I am so grateful to them for their faith and hospitality

Thank you to everyone who continues to pray for a just peace for Ukraine. I am sending this from the National Prayer Breakfast, which had just been addressed by President Zelensky. He said that the greatest threat to the Ukraine is not on the front lines, but that the world gets used to this war. Please continue to pray for this suffering nation.
