💚It’s the last day of the Summer holidays for the children at Powick school. We wish them a wonderful first day back tomorrow.

✏️We just wanted to share with you that in 10days, Sunday 13th September, we will be sharing the children’s work in a special service at 11am. This includes special work from our very talented children from Powick, Callow End and Madresfield schools.

🥰Please do come and join us, we would love to see you there.

📆 Don’t forget that on the 18th September, we have a very special guest to talk about the English Civil War.

🏃‍♂️💙 SYDNEY MARATHON COMPLETE! 💙🏃‍♂️

A HUGE thank you to every single person who has sponsored Phil and supported him on his journey to the Sydney Marathon today! 🥹🥰

We are SO, so proud of him. He has completed the marathon in an incredible 4 hours 37 minutes! 🎉👏

After battling anaemia and everything that came with it, to see him cross that finish line today is something we are incredibly proud of. He has shown such determination and perseverance, and somehow managed to keep training and pushing forward to raise an incredible amount of money for our beloved St Peter’s Church, Powick. ⛪️❤️

We are now not far off the fundraising target we had hoped to reach, which is absolutely amazing! If you are able to make a donation today, however big or small, we would be absolutely thrilled. Every donation really does make a difference. ❤️

It has meant the absolute world to us to have had so much love and support throughout Phil’s training. Thank you to everyone who has checked in on him, encouraged him, sponsored him and sent such amazing messages along the way. 🥹

Join us for a special Education Sunday service as we celebrate everyone who works and learns in our wonderful schools! 🏫💙

The service will feature readings, reflections and prayers from children at Callow End, Madresfield & Powick Schools. 🙏📖

Everyone is warmly welcome to come along and celebrate the important role our schools, teachers, pupils and wider school communities play.

During the Civil War, this church found itself caught up in the conflict — and you can still see bullet holes in the building today! 😮

💙 Phil is back on his feet… and back in training! 🏃‍♂️

Many of you know that Phil is running the Sydney Marathon at the end of August to raise money for our wonderful church, St Peter’s Church, Powick.

Unfortunately, his training was interrupted when he became seriously unwell with anaemia. He needed multiple blood transfusions and has spent several weeks recovering. It has been a challenging time, but we’re so grateful that he is now feeling stronger, back in training, and determined to cross that finish line!

If you’re able to support him, we’d be so grateful. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us get closer to our fundraising target and support the ongoing work and preservation of our beautiful church in Powick.
