St Nicholas Warndon

St Nicholas Warndon We are a friendly ecumenical church on the outskirts of Worcester. We have a mix of Anglican and Methodist services, and would love to meet you! St.

Nicholas is an ancient parish and church. The church was restored during 1991 to serve the new housing development of Warndon Villages to the north east of the city. The church building is Church of England, but at the time of the recent restoration the church was established in a partnership scheme with the Methodist and United Reformed churches.

Our east window contains fragments of glass dating from 1325 and survived Cromwell's army. Removed and restored in 1984, it depicts St Andrew, the Annunciation, and an example of the 'Madonna Lactans' (Mary nursing Jesus).

All are welcome to come and have a look around and perhaps pick up one of our Heritage Tour leaflets to learn more about St Nicholas’ history. Our opening hours are currently 10am - 2pm every day.
