Gracious God, thank you for the gift of this new day. Guide my thoughts, calm any worries, and grant me the wisdom to handle whatever challenges come my way. Help me to be a source of kindness to others and to find simple joy in the ordinary moments. Amen.

Eternal light, shine into our hearts,
eternal goodness, deliver us from evil,
eternal power, be our support,
eternal wisdom, scatter the darkness of our ignorance,
eternal pity, have mercy upon us;
that with all our heart and mind and soul and strength
we may seek your face and be brought by your infinite mercy
to your holy presence,
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Mighty God,
by whose grace Elizabeth rejoiced with Mary
and greeted her as the mother of the Lord:
look with favour on your lowly servants
that, with Mary, we may magnify your holy name
and rejoice to acclaim her Son our Saviour,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

Spirit of truth, we confess we often resist Your voice.
We prefer comfort to courage, silence to witness, and fear to faith.
Forgive our apathy, our pride, and our failure to live as Your children.
Cleanse us from sin and renew our hearts.
Breathe into us the life of Christ. Stir in us a hunger for Your Word and a readiness to act with love.
Let Your Spirit move freely in us, restoring what is broken.
In Jesus’ name, who gives us peace and calls us friends, we pray.

God of all peoples, send Your Spirit to heal and restore the world.
Bring peace to conflict, justice to the oppressed, and hope to the weary.
As at Pentecost, unite divided nations with the language of love.
Inspire leaders with wisdom, courage, and compassion.
Uplift the poor, shelter the displaced, and comfort the grieving.
Let Your Spirit stir renewal where life has grown dry.
Use us as vessels of Your mercy and messengers of Your peace.
In Jesus’ name, who makes all things new, we pray.
