A local sheep farmer has just been in touch asking for prayers for farmers generally after a difficult winter and now a very wet spring. They quote some of the challenges being faced by many in this area as terrible losses from Schmallenberg, saturated ground making ploughing and planting impossible and turning out of sheep difficult, combined with uncertainty about future strategy…I guess we all are aware but a specific request for prayer would be great.

The CARL Committee would like to invite you to our annual AGM which is being held at 7pm for 7.30pm on Tuesday 16th April 24 at the Worcestershire Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs Centre in Hawford. We will be having a buffet beforehand so please arrive in time to enjoy the food.
This year I am pleased to say that our guest speaker will be James Hill – A dedicated Christian and Managing Director of Hampton Manor Hotel where well sourced, well prepared food is at the heart of everything. James is passionate that the phrase “farm to fork” is taken seriously with British grown produce being at the centre of the Manor’s Michelin starred restaurant.
