It's great to see so many churches getting involved in the Heritage Open Days. An event at St Mary's Church in Ripple over the weekend drew in 367 visitors, taking them back to the 17th century with the Sealed Knot and delicious jumbals (biscuits). The day was organised by Anthony Wardle, Nick Blake and Karen McBride who said: "We were delighted that the visitors were so genuinely interested and engaged - we're now thinking about plans to reach out to an international audience!"
