A request from Rushwick Parish Council

Dog waste bags are being left in a pile in the alleyway between Christine Avenue and Grange Lane. Unfortunately, a large number have now accumulated.

Please do not leave or throw dog poo bags in this area. Bagging your dog’s waste is only half the job – it must then be taken home or disposed of in a suitable dog waste or litter bin.

Leaving bagged dog waste is unpleasant for other residents, harmful to the environment, and creates an unnecessary clean-up for volunteers and the Parish Council.

Please help us keep Rushwick clean by disposing of dog waste responsibly.

Thank you for your cooperation.

A polite reminder from Rushwick Parish Council.

Please could we ask everyone not to use the large black bin at the park for household waste.

This bin is provided specifically for rubbish generated within the park, such as litter collected from the grounds. Unfortunately, it has being filled with household waste, which means there is no room for the park waste bags.

The Parish Council has to pay for every collection of this bin, so using it for household rubbish creates unnecessary costs that are funded by the local community.

If you have household waste to dispose of, please use your household bins or one of the local Household Recycling Centres.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the park clean and enjoyable for everyone.
