A welcoming space for worship, learning, and unity. The Central Jamia Mosque and Community Centre was founded in 1995, and since then it has been serving the Muslim Community living in Milton Keynes. Beginning the Year with Purpose

As we enter a new Islamic year, Muharram invites us to reflect on far more than the passing of time. It is a month filled with powerful reminders of faith, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to Allah. From the salvation of Sayyiduna Musa عليه السلام on the Day of Ashura, to the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Umar رضي الله عنه and the timeless lessons of Karbala, Muharram calls us to consider the legacy we are building and the values we are prepared to uphold.

Join us for an uplifting gathering with Shaykh Amin Buxton, Qari Mikhaael Mala and esteemed guests, as we benefit from Qur’anic recitation, Prophetic guidance and heartfelt reminders rooted in the blessed way of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Please do not park your vehicles at bus stops or in a way that blocks driveways, entrances, or access for other road users and residents.

If possible, please arrive a little earlier and use the surrounding streets where parking is permitted.

Let us show good manners and consideration for our neighbours and community.
