The Quran places immense emphasis on trusting Allah (Tawakkul) as a cornerstone of faith. Trusting in Allah means having complete reliance on Him, believing in His wisdom, and knowing that He is the best planner. Here are some key verses that highlight the concept of trust in Allah:
# # # 1. **Trust in Allah's Plan**
*"And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a decreed extent."*
(Surah At-Talaq, 65:3)
This verse assures believers that Allah is sufficient for their needs and that His plan is always perfect.
# # # 2. **Allah Loves Those Who Trust Him**
*"Indeed, Allah loves those who rely upon Him."*
(Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:159)
This verse highlights that placing trust in Allah is not only a virtue but also a source of Allah's love.
# # # 3. **Patience and Trust Go Hand in Hand**
*"So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain in faith."*
(Surah Ar-Rum, 30:60)
Trusting Allah involves patience, especially during trials, knowing that His promise is always true.
# # # 4. **Seek Help Through Trust and Prayer**
*"And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]."*
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:45)
This verse shows that trust in Allah is reinforced by turning to Him in prayer and being steadfast.
# # # 5. **Prophet Muhammad's Trust in Allah**
*"If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah, let the believers rely."*
(Surah Aal-e-Imran, 3:160)
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is commanded to remind the believers of Allah's ultimate control over all affairs.
