FOAM PARTY IMPORTANT INFO FOR ALL BOOKED ON :)
Hiya everyone
How fast has this come round? We are so looking forward to welcoming you to church tomorrow for the foam party - it is going to be wild!
Few recommendations for tomorrow:
The foam is wet! Everyone joining in with the foam must wear a swimming costume under light-weight clothing and wear non-slip footwear. Come ready dressed for the foam to save time.
Bring towels and a change of clothes. We will provide an area for hosing down and removing foam from skin and separate changing tents for males/females and an area for younger children to change who need parental assistance.
The organizer's advise the following:
The foam powder (which is mixed with water) is non-toxic and hypo-allergenic. The wearing of goggles is recommended although this is a personal choice. Persons with skin allergies or ongoing skin issues or pregnant should seek medical advice prior to going in the foam. No persons under age 5 or disabled persons are permitted to use the foam unsupervised. Under 5s skin is more sensitive.
Everyone enters the foam at their own risk and the foam cannon supplier will ask you to sign a disclaimer on arrival.
Children must be supervised at all times.
You can view the foam cannon supplier/organiser's own risk assessment, public liability insurance and COSHH assessment for the foam on their website, : https://www.party2party.co.uk/ under the tab 'legal' and there's also a video of a foam party in action.
The foam will start at 11am. Therefore please come to church for 10:45 so we can register you and not waste any foam time π
Please would you come straight to the garden gate and meet us there. The car park will have limited spaces so if you are able too, please consider parking on the estate and walking in. As always though, please be mindful of our neighbour's and potential emergency access. Thanks so much!
Just a side note - we, unfortunately will not be able to admit anyone that isn't pre booked onto the foam party. This will include extra family members - sorry in advance. We have very limited numbers on such an event so booking is absolutely essential. As per recent Facebook communications though, if you have been unsuccessful on getting onto the foam party, drop me a message and I will prioritize your attendance for the inflatable's day. I must also ask that if you are not able to come that you let me know personally and with as much notice as possible. I'm sure you can appreciate how popular these events are for our community which means we have waitlists in place. We want to utilise every space available as as well as considerations for catering and volunteer time so please let me know. Failure to do so will result in further event places being limited as we need to make this work and be fair for our whole community. Thank you for understanding.
Looking forward to a wonderful day - any questions or concerns, feel free to drop me (Em) a message.
Take Care
