Carmelite Monastery, Wolverhampton The Carmel of the Magnificat, Wolverhampton, was founded by Mother Mary of Jesus from Notting Hill Carmel on 25th May 1922

The Carmel of the Magnificat is a cloistered Roman Catholic community of Discalced Carmelite nuns, following the charism & lifestyle of St Teresa of Avila, with a special emphasis on contemplative prayer.
