St Alban's Church Community Banner

Thank you to everyone who was part of creating the beautiful new Banner for church. We had a wonderful service to celebrate 50 years of St. Albans on Ashmore Park, in Sunday. The Bidhop of Lichfield came and did us proud. The Banner looked fabulous. Here are some shots of the final putting together of over a thousand pieces! Hundreds of hours of work.

We will be producing some mugs and bags to commemorate and raise some money toward a new path. Mugs are 7.50 and bags £10. If you'd like one but can't get to church to sign up please let me know. Thanks all xx Jo

Hi all!
Sorry for the lack of posts. We have been putting the thousands of pieces together quite strategically, thinking about techniques for hanging and making sure all bits are seen and secure. We have also decided to do a banner for the St Albans room separately to celebrate kids work. This will include work done but the brownies and kids church.
Hanging of the banner will take place next week ready for it to be unveiled by the Bishop on the 11th June. Very exciting. Please pray it hangs well and all gets done without stresses! Xx

This Saturday, we're having a day of worship in the St Thomas Centre and we'd love for you to come! There will be workshops in prayerful painting, bible journaling and liturgical movement, as well as prayer stations, crafts and music. No matter how creative you are, we hope you will be able to come and enjoy spending time with God in a way you might not normally get to do.
