RAISING MINISTERS FOR THE CHURCH

Wonderful news! 🎉 Our sister Dawn Ellis — once Church Warden at St Chad’s & St Mark’s and now Sacristan at All Saints — has been recommended to train for Ordination to the Priesthood in the Church of England! 🙌💒

Dawn shares how this calling has grown over many years, how God has guided her through discernment, and how her work as an MHA Chaplain has deepened her passion for pastoral care.

🌱❤️She loves time with family, gardening, cooking, reading and singing — gifts she brings with joy into her ministry. 🌼🍲📚🎵We give thanks for her “yes” to God’s call. 🙏✨

For the past few weeks at St Chad's and St Mark's and All Saints Morning and Evening Prayer we have been using the Canadian Prayer Book's Prayer for Reconciliation with the Jewish Peoples in response to rising antisemitism. We offer it here in the hope others may also wish to use it.

Following the local house fire in which two children 1 and 3 years old died on Mason Street in All Saints parish nearly 30 people including members of the family came to church to pray and reflect on the awful tragedy as we opened the doors of the church for two hours last night.
