We are back with our annual 6 hours sponsored gatka! In commemoration of Hola Mahala & Delhi Fateh Divas, P6 Gatka Akhara will commit to 6 hours of gatka. Hola Mahala is synonymous with the Sikh festival of war & Delhi Fateh Divas remembers a true moment of worldy glory for the Guru Khalsa Panth. These landmark festivals represent sacrifice, community & courage. All money raised will go towards the P6 VLE that we are continually fundraising for which you can find out more about at justgiving.com/campaign/p6academy (link in bio).

We have often found that there are many students who would love the opportunity to learn Raag Kirtan. However, there are two things that limit them. The first is accessibility to classes whether that be in terms of location or price - this is one of the reasons we are building a VLE and why all local Raag classes are free. The second is accessibility to instruments. Whilst it is our long term goal to fill these voids and enable more students to experience the authentic Kirtan of the Guru, we are looking for short term solutions. If you have any instruments around the house (fixed or broken) that you no longer use, allow the next generation of students to learn from them!

Contact the number on the poster or direct message us if you would like to donate and we can arrange for the instruments to reach us!

Forever on the mission to embrace the SatGuru.

Here is some footage from the 6 hour sponsored gatka event that took place in celebration of Hola Mahalla and Delhi Fateh Divas! The students showed great strength and resilience by performing gatka continuously and raising over £1300! Thank you to everyone who supported the event. The funds will help the academy’s venture in creating a Virtual Learning Environment for individuals to indulge in Gurmat Vidya all across the world. Check the link in our bio to support now!

In celebration & commemoration of Hola Mahala & Delhi Fateh Divas P6 Gatka Akhara will commit to 6 hours of gatka. Hola Mahala is synonymous with the Sikh festival of war & Delhi Fateh Divas remembers the time when the glorious Guru Khalsa Panth sat on the Mughals main throne of Delhi. It represents sacrifice, community & courage. All money raised will go towards to the P6 VLE that we are currently fundraising for. Find out more at justgiving.com/campaign/p6academy (link in bio).
