SHAHAB RESAEIFAR

With deep sorrow we have learned that our dear brother Shahab Rasaeifar, who was for many years a member of our church family, has tragically passed away. Shahab came to the United Kingdom from Iran as a refugee, and later his family was able to join him. He has been around our community for a number of years making and playing the Cojan and building our Stable for our outdoor Nativity.

During the Holy Communion service this Sunday, we will offer a special prayer for the peace of his soul. And this afternoon between 3pm and 7pm you are invited to gather to offer condolences to his family - his wife Roya and their children Ayda and Ayhan and to share memories and comfort. Shahab will be buried in Iran and so at 5pm we will gather for approximately 20 minutes in church to pray the Christian funeral service for him with readings ALL ARE WELCOME. It is planned at a later date to have a full memorial service for him.

‼️WE HAVE JUST HEARD THAT SHAHAB HAS DIED PLEASE PRAY FOR HIS SOUL AND FOR HIS FAMILY ‼️

Please pray for Shahab one of our brothers at ChadMark who had an accident on Monday and is now in a coma. Please pray also for his wife Roya and their children. Some of his brothers and sisters in the Persian community at ChadMark have written this prayer for him translated from Persian to English below

Heavenly Father, Almighty God full of mercy and love,

Tonight we come before You with united hearts, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother Shahab into Your loving hands.

Lord, You know him completely. You created every cell in his body, every breath he takes, and every moment of his life. Nothing is hidden from Your sight, and no situation is beyond Your power. As Shahab lies in a coma today, we choose to lift our eyes away from fear and hopelessness and fix them on You, the God who heals, restores, and gives life.

Lord Jesus, just as You healed the sick, raised the dead, and calmed the storm, we ask You now to place Your healing hand upon Shahab. Touch his body, restore his brain and nervous system, heal every injury, and let Your life-giving power flow through him.

In the name of Jesus, we declare that our hope is in You, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We ask You to awaken Shahab, strengthen him, and bring him back to full health and life.

We also pray for his family. In the middle of fear, sorrow, and uncertainty, surround them with Your peace and presence. Fill their hearts with hope, faith, and strength. Guide the doctors, nurses, and everyone involved in his care with wisdom and understanding.

Heavenly Father, we place Shahab into Your faithful and compassionate hands, trusting that Your perfect will and power will be revealed in his life.

In the mighty and glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray,
Amen. 🙏✝️❤️
