Charlie attended his first BB swimming gala today. He was anxious & nervous and didn’t want to get into the pool. He sat out the first race but with the encouragement from the lads he went for it second time and came second place! I want to say a huge thank you to Oscar who after winning his race decided to give his medal to Charlie. What a selfless, kind and generous thing to do. He didn’t have to do this but after seeing Charlie sit out his first race and get upset, then go in second time and take part he decided to do such a generous thing which meant so much to Charlie - he was absolutely chuffed. Oscar you are a credit to the BB & your parents. This reminds me exactly why BB is important for the next generation of lads. ⚓️💙

Well done to the lads who represented the company in the Battalion Bible Quiz this morning.
Archie and Emmanuel were 4th in the Juniors.
Charlie, Zac and Samuel were runners up in Company Section.
And Kieran and Jack were 4th in the Seniors.

The juniors chess trophy went to a member from Cheslyn Hay. All our boys won more than they lost and were in contention right to the end . With a little more practice we will be in with a shout. Jack and Lloyd in the company section both played well and Jack managed second place.
