John 14

Let us hear the Father

Let us hear the Father,
The Whisper of his voice
No matter when life's harder
He is our first choice

Don't let your heart be troubled
In confidence we believe,
In him nothing is impossible,
Press on in faith and you'll receive.

He's preparing a place of rest
A dwelling place for all
The Father's knows what's best
Just listen for his call.

The way the truth and the life
We've been chosen for a cause
He'll guide us through all our strife
Listen to the Father take a pause

He's with us all the time
And yet we often will forget
Welcome him in your heart one time
This choice you'll not regret

Follow him in truth and faith
Then miracles we'll see
In the knowledge of his word we'll bathe
He'll give the power of three

Ask and you will receive
A friend like no other
Open up your heart believe
He'll give love like he gave to our brothers

Give love to the Father's son
He'll give love to you
Let all of your heartaches be gone
Your life he'll live with you

Jesus the way to the God most high,
Joins our lives in unity,
Trust Jesus with our lives,
Children of God surely we will be,

In truth you are the reality,
God's promises are true,
As the life you show us divinity,
In Jesus's name we get to you.

Through your son God is made visible,
We see what God is like,
Our life is made permissable,
Truth and reality is only found in christ

God alone he knows the future,
He tells us to prepare,
In our hearts we need to capture,
On that day we'll know you're there.

He knew we needed saving,
His son paid the price on a tree,
This selfless act was paving,
Eternal life for you and me.

Our faith will come hearing
Focus on the word of christ
There's no room for fearing
For our salvation he paid the price.

My heart is his home
My safest place is in him
No need to fear of the unknown
Forgiven is all my sin.
