*Happy New Year*

Brothers & Sisters

As we come to the close of 2021 I hope you have had a great Christmas break & are healthy & well. I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year & discuss a couple of things.

2 wonderful General Conferences & Apostolic visit to the UK and their special meeting have been highlights for us as a family & last week our Boxing Day meeting & Carol Service was a great end to the year. I am praying that we won't have any more restrictions that affect our ability to worship & meet together at Church in 2022 & you will all join with us each week.

For 2022 we will be meeting on Sunday at 1pm, starting with Sunday school for our 2nd hours meeting on Sunday 2nd January 2022 & we look forward to seeing you all there.

As a Bishopric we are grateful for all you have done for us as a Bishopric & for each other this year to minister, love & serve each other

Love
Bishop Peedle

Changes to Covid Requirements & Christmas Party Cancelled

Brothers & Sisters

As you know the changes this week by the Government mean that wearing masks in Places of Worship is now mandatory & this will be for all meetings at the Chapel until further notice. We will continue to provide masks for those who don't have them on arrival & sanitiser which we would like all to use as they enter the building & encourage social distancing.

The Europe area Presidency outlined the importance of meeting together this week with no changes the current 2-hour programme as 'the practice of worshipping together is of great significance & is a matter of deep spiritual consequence. It provides strength & protection to the Saints', and 'provides refuge to Heavenly Fathers children'

We will continue to maintain cleaning standards in line with Covid-19 advice to protect you & there will continue to be a Zoom Sacrament Meeting for those who are unable to attend Sunday services so they can participate remotely but I want to encourage you to either attend in person or online & make the Sacrament & worship the priority for your Sunday as we don't see everyone we saw pre-Covid at church or on Zoom at the moment & we miss you.

As a Ward Council we have made a decision to cancel the Ward Christmas Party tomorrow at 6pm. I know this is disappointing but with the increasing infection rates & it potentially affecting your health & enjoyment of Christmas it is the right decision.

Thankyou for all you do supporting each other as a Ward & us as a Bishopric, we certainly feel your love, service & support

Love
Bishop Peedle
