Foodbank collection on Sunday 6th September.

You may have heard that Woking Foodbank has been running very short of some items and this month's requested list reflects the shortages in the central warehouse and in all the local satellite centres. Donating any of these items will help navigate this period of shortages and bless those who need emergency food ahead of Harvest collections in October when community groups/schools, colleges and churches/businesses often give so generously.

Please bring your donations to the collection point next to the sound desk in church by 12.15pm on Sunday 6th September or items can be dropped off in the back entrance porch of the car park. Thank you. Your support and donations are very much appreciated.

Requested items:
Long life fruit juice
Children's chocolate bars (Freddo bars, Twix, Wispa, Kit Kat etc)
Baby food
Tinned Custard
Fruit Squash
Small cartons/boxes of laundry detergent (bio & non-bio)
Long life sponge puddings
Small jars of coffee
Semi skimmed long life milk cartons
Mayonnaise
Deodorant (M&F)
Toilet cleaner gel & liquid
Instant mashed potato (packets/boxes)
Chocolate spread
Washing up liquid
Hot chocolate
Jars of jam
Instant noodles
Size 8 nappies
Peanut butter

One week ago today, we ventured around our area for a prayer walk along with some friends from Woking Prayer Network, with about a dozen of us altogether. We prayed for the residents, the schools, the businesses and more!

We pray for those in our community who are receiving A-level results today, and those who will be receiving their GCSE results in a week's time. May you have the confidence in God's plan for each and every one of you.

Woking Foodbank collection this Sunday! Thank you for your very generous donations in June which weighed in at 138.50 kg, our heaviest collection so far this year!
