Free breakfast + a rugby legend? Now that is a Father’s Day plan 🥓🏉

This Sunday, we’re celebrating all the dads and father figures at Welcome Church. Not only is breakfast on us (yes, free bacon rolls for everyone!), but we’re also sitting down for an exclusive interview with Rugby World Cup-winning coach, John "Mitch" Mitchell.

BREAKING NEWS...
We are so excited to announce that we will be interviewing Rugby World Cup winning coach John (Mitch) Mitchell at our Father's Day services on Sunday 21st June, 9:30 and 11:30am!

Mitch led the England Women Red Roses team to victory in the 2025 Rugby World Cup, a feat which led to him being awarded the OBE for services to English rugby.

We can't wait to hear Mitch's wisdom and insights!

53 kids went away for the Welcome Kids Weekend Away 2026!

🙌 KIDS WEEKEND AWAY 2026 is officially here!

Our amazing Welcome Kids in years 4–6 are off for an incredible weekend of fun, friendship, and diving into God’s love.

This weekend, our teaching focus is all about asking: "How much does God love us?" Through the stories of Moses, King Nebuchadnezzar, and the Prodigal Son, the kids will learn that God loves them when they feel alone, when they are right in the thick of things, and even when things go wrong.

We would love for you to join us in praying for our kids and the amazing team serving them! Here is how you can pray with us this weekend:

1. Rooted in His Love: Pray that each child grasps just how wide, long, high, and deep Jesus' love is, laying the foundation for a personal relationship with Him that lasts a lifetime.
2. Transformed Lives: Pray for hearts to be softened and lives to be completely transformed through the power of Jesus.
3. Strong Friendships: Pray for deep, meaningful connections among the children—that the weekend would be filled with kindness, fun, and mutual encouragement.
4. Our Incredible Teams: Pray for both the kids' leaders and the catering teams. Ask for an abundance of joy, energy, patience, and divine protection as they serve.
5. Safety & Joy: Pray for a safe, smooth, and joy-filled weekend from start to finish for absolutely everyone involved.
