In addition to our traditional church services, St Mary’s is delighted to host several special musical events throughout the year.

Next month, we have two wonderful candlelit Amy Winehouse Jazz Experiences, on Saturday 12th September at 7pm and 9pm. See the poster for ticketing details.

All proceeds raised from the hire charge will go towards our new project: creating a beautiful, accessible entrance so everyone can share in the life of St Mary’s, today and for generations to come.

Our Open Church sessions are proving very popular with locals and visitors alike. We were delighted to welcome over eighty people to St Mary’s last Sunday afternoon to explore our historic treasure in the heart of Woburn.

The next opportunity is this coming Friday morning, when our café will be open from 10am until 12 noon, serving savoury and sweet bakes in a friendly and welcoming environment.

All proceeds raised will go towards our new project: creating a beautiful, accessible entrance so everyone can share in the life of St Mary’s, today and for generations to come.

Our menu changes weekly, featuring an array of fresh, homemade treats, including white chocolate and raspberry muffins, Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut cake, and tea loaf. For those who prefer something savoury, we also have cheese scones and courgette and carrot muffins.

We look forward to welcoming visitors, new and old, to our wonderful historic church over the coming weeks.
