The University of Essex is an important place of employment as well as world class learning. Many staff and students, friends and neighbours will be anxious this week, following the restructure announcement which could lead to job losses.

Wivenhoe and the surrounding area, has benefitted hugely from the presence of the University, its students, academics and support staff. Wivenhoe churches are holding this situation in our prayers; we are praying for wisdom for the leaders as they make decisions and those in turn affected by these decisions.

We believe in a God who loves you and wants the best for you. We worship a God who brings comfort and answers prayers. We’d love to pray with you and talk with you if you are anxious.

We invite you to share your prayer needs with us online, via phone or join us in person at one of our services. You will be welcomed.

we start with some time to eat together, relax and get to know your group.

each film (30mins) covers a different topic, exploring the big issues around faith and unpacking the basics of Christianity.

*Conversation*
finish with chance to share your thoughts on the session’s topic and discuss it in your small groups - no judgement, no pressure
