'FFF@ (Friendship, Food and Fun) is free to everyone, but you can donate if you wish.....

October 29th 'Looking Back with ‘Kevin and Kenny’ Duo
11.00 am Hot drinks....Lunch at 12.00....Entertainment at 1.00
The Community room is accessible down the left hand side of the Church.

This is the type of food that is available at ‘FFF’ on the last Thursday of each month, in the Community Room to the rear of Withernsea Methodist Church. In addition there are drinks from 11.00am. Soup is served from 12.00 and entertainment begins at 1.00.
Today’s guest was Rebecca Briggs from the town and the audience of 30+ really enjoyed her wonderful voice. The guests on July 30th are ‘Curtis and McLeod’, Singers and Songwriters, also from W’sea.

We have spaces to spare in the CR, if you want to lead a group, or have a birthday celebration. It costs £15 per hour.

My recent post re weekly activities in the Community Room, to the rear of Withernsea Methodist Church, may have an error. The ‘Yell and Natter’ group is between 9.00 and 11.00 on Fridays in term time, and NOT 1.00 to 3.00. Apologies - Gordon.

From Rev Ian Greenfield at the Withernsea Methodist Church…

I look forward to welcoming you to church in the morning, if you feel it is safe for you to make the journey in these treacherous conditions. In the light of the tragedy of the last 48hrs I have made changes to our morning worship. I shall lead a quiet, prayerful and reflective service as we open our doors to the wider community as they come to grieve the loss of the lives at sea on Friday. Several people I have spoken to, at our church this morning and who I have met along the sea front, have expressed a wish to come and gather with us. The Covenant Service and Holy Communion will be moved to a later date, probably February 8th when I shall be with you again.
Please share this as you wish, maybe with those who would not receive this email.
