Wellspring is a new church in Wirksworth formed from the coming-together of Baptist and Methodist congregations.

10 - 12 each day with lunch at midday. All primary school aged children are welcome.

Next weekend Wirksworth is celebrating its Well dressings and Carnival.
If you are an old hand at Well Dressing or have never tried it you are welcome to pop into Wellspring at any time next week to either have a look at how it's done or have a go yourself. If you pop in every day you can see how the well develops during the week.
It all begins at 10.00 am on Monday when the clay is put on the boards ready to create the well (be ready to take out yor frustrations and get messy).
While you are visiting you can ask the dressers any questions about well dressing including why some old Wirksworthians call it Tap Dressing.
We look forward to seeing you during the week and next weekend to see the finished well.
