Tony Bostock, local historian and author, will be speaking to us at 1pm - do not miss out if you want to learn about our 700 + history.

Why not pop in and look round this beautiful church or have a moment of quoet. We have a book nook corner for children and all are welcome.

of free courses available to help people gain new skills, help with digital confidence and support personal and professional development. Details below

Tower Tours at the Heritage Open Day

- No Advanced booking
- Church will be open from 11am and you can book onto a tour then.
- First tour will start once we have 10 people signed up. These will continue throughout the day, until 3pm.
- We expect a tour to last between 30 - 40 minutes
- First stop if the Bell Ringing Room. You have the chance to watch and listen to a bell ringing demonstration and chime a bell yourself. The room itself is full of history!
(You don't have to go any further than this if you don't want to)
- After this, carry on up the tower, past the Bell Chamber, to reach the top of the roof (weather permitting). We really hope for a blue sky, sunny day to make the most of the 360 degrees view! There are 89 stone steps to the top.

*Restrictions do apply and you will be asked to sign a disclaimer form. Children aged 10+ only and 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please come in sensible footwear, no flipflops etc. All must be able to climb the tower unassisted.
