On Tuesday Irene and Anne went with Reverend Gary to Christchurch, Thornton to once again be confirmed in post as church wardens for another year. On Sunday 7th we will be swearing in the Sides-persons during the 11:00 a.m. service. Please do come along to support them and to show your appreciation for all that they do.

We had a special treat after the service this morning. As part of Annie Etherington's school project we were lucky to be the recipients of some lovely, home baked, jam and cream scones. Everyone enjoyed them and send their thanks to Annie.

The altar is all ready for the special service to celebrate Pentecost. Please join us at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday 24th Mayfor a service of Holy Communion. Everyone is always welcome at St. Luke's.

Today we were blessed with sunshine as we gathered outside during the service to celebrate Rogation Sunday. Reverend Gillian and Reverend Gary blessed the seeds and the soil.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with the Winmarleigh Walkers. It was a pleasure to see so many happy faces. As usual we are grateful to our small band of volunteers who kept the plates filled and the tea-pots flowing. Thank you to all the walkers for supporting us and for your generosity. Your donations will help with the upkeep of our beautiful church. We hope to see you again next year (or before). Everyone is always welcome at St. Luke's.
