The URC General Assembly has inducted the Revd Neil Thorogood, as its Moderator 2026-2027.

During his term of office, the Minister of Thornbury and Trinity-Henleaze URCs in South Western Synod, aims to visit many parts of the URC and "discover more of the amazing mosaic of faith and action that is our life together".

This year, we
re being asked to help shine a light on the informal
settlements of Dagoretti, in Nairobi.
Fridah found feeding her family a daily struggle. With tools and
training from our partner, Beacon of Hope, she now grows vegetables
in a small city space to feed her family and earn an income.
She says
Now I can plan. I can buy this; I can buy that. I can help my
family
Last year our Carver community managed to send £240 through our
envelope giving. Can we try to exceed that amount this year?
