We are delighted that Xelabus are returning to provide us with a FREE shuttle bus service in their vintage double decker bus between South Wi******er Park & Ride and the venue, from 11.30am til 4pm. 🤩 Thank you so much!

They will serve ALL bus stops along Otterbourne Road between Otterbourne, Shawford and Compton, and A NEW STOP has been added at The Otter pub (on the roadside of the pub, not the opposite side going back down the hill).

If you live in those areas please do utilise this service and leave your car at home; there is limited blue-badge parking only at Oakwood Avenue.

The number 1 Bluestar bus also covers the area.

Due to recent events, it’s been touch and go whether this event would go ahead. There’s been a lot of work behind the scenes to organise a potential plan B! However, we are DELIGHTED to announce that the Otterbourne Summer Festival will be going ahead as planned!

We cannot wait to welcome our community to the festival on the rec to enjoy our local musicians and dance acts, the return of our popular dog show, and a plethora of fantastic games, sports, food and entertainment.

We’re delighted to offer you a fabulous range of new activities! From beat the goalie and axe throwing, to bowling and an escape room, hopefully they’ll be something to entertain you. And we have a wonderful selection of our usual favourites too.

We’re also very excited to offer pony rides which are raising money for The Playhouse Foundation. A local charity based in Otterbourne who provide bespoke services to children with autism throughout Hampshire.

And a huge thank you to Sporting Wessex, the Scouts, Active8 Minds Wi******er and Wi******er Badminton academy who are all joining us on the day to provide entertainment!

Our Summer Festival ‘Food Zone’ is very happy to be serving up delicious food from our amazing local producers. The BBQ will be well stocked with burgers (vegetarian and beef) and hotdogs supplied by the award-winning Wi******er based Beechcroft Farm Shop. And we have a bar stocked full with wine, beer, lager, cider, Pimm’s, Prosecco and soft drinks!

Our ice creams and fruit lollies are supplied by Jude's Ice Cream who have been making ice cream for more than 20 years and are based just up the road in Twyford.

We’re also super excited that our local bee keeper, Otterbourne Honey, will be joining us selling her honey and candles.

And for those who like a hot cuppa and a slice of cake, let’s not forget the talented home bakers who will be delighting us with their homemade treats.

We can’t wait to welcome you! 🍔 🌭 🥂🍦 🍰 ☕️

Calling all dog lovers! We are delighted to announce that our beloved dog show is returning this year! 🐕 Whether your four-legged friend has the waggiest tail, floppiest ears or looks the most like its human, there’s sure to be a category for them to enter.

There are prizes for every category and a full dog groom, courtesy of the wonderful Able Groomers, will be awarded to the Best in Show. 🥇

Huge thanks to Kaela and K9’s for taking on the tricky role of judge!
