WE HAVE MOVED!!
As a church we have moved venue. We are no longer meeting at our building in Grove Road instead we will be having our services at Allendale House for 3 Sundays of the month and once a month in the Allendale Cafe.
We will still meet at 10:30. If you’ve worried about walking into a church building or had worries about what to wear when at a church why not come and try us out now we are in a community venue.
Sunday morning 5th July 10:30 in Allendale House. ALL WELCOME.

Today we give thanks and celebrate the work that God has done in and through his people at Wimborne Baptist Church in Grove rd.
Through a long period of prayfull reflection on our circumstances and God's call on us as his missional people. We will be moving our Sunday services to The Allendale House and once a month to the Allendale center Cafe. This places us in the centre of our town and into a location that is well known with copious parking.

This is a big move for us as a congregation, but we face it with faith in our God.

We asked the question why are we here? To meet and sustain a building? To close or to see the lost brought to Christ and God's kingdom built?

As a church we chose the latter.

We praise God for everything that has happened in ministry, worship and changed lives at Grove Rd but we move together towards, God willing a greater harvest field in the center of our growing town of Wimborne.

Please continue to pray and support us as we take this bold step of faith.

You are welcome to join this afternoon the 28th of June for our Final service at Grove rd. 2:30pm.

We have the pleasure of having this year's president of the Baptist Union Alex Afriyie lead a morning retreat at Grove rd this coming Saturday.

Alex has been the minister of London Network Church (East Acton Baptist) for over 30 years. He has been involved in Baptist Union leadership in various ways since 2010, including serving as a director and moderator of London Baptists over a 6-year period and being a member of Baptist Union Council. During his year as President, he is asking how can we walk worthy of our calling to represent Jesus in the UK today?

Are you coming to the folk festival? Will you have children with you? If so then please come and see our marquee on Willow Walk where we will have FREE craft activities and temporary tattoos for the children. There will also be a quiet space for nursing mothers.
PLEASE NOTE: children must be accompanied by their parent/carers at all times. We are not a child care facility.
