A Prayer For Guidance

Psalm 25 v 1
"To You O Lord I offer my prayer. In You O Lord I trust."

Song 591. SASB
"I would be Thy Holy Temple, sacred and indwelt by Thee. Naught then could stain my commission, Ti's Thy divine charge to me.

Seeking to mirror Thy Glory, Living to answer Thy Call. Each faithful vow now renewing, gladly I yeild Thee my all.

Time health and talents presenting, all that I have shall be Thine. Heart mind and will consecrating, No longer shall they be mine.

O for a heart of compassion, moved at the impulse of love. Lost ones to bring to Thy footstool, Thy gracious riches to prove.

Take Thou my life Lord. In deep submission I pray. My all to Thee dedicating. Accept my offering today."

1 Corinthians 3 v 16
"Surely you know that you are God's Temple and that God's Spirit lives in you."

It's a wonderful feeling to realise that we are God’s Temple but what a responsibility we have.
I personally want to share with you some of the things that always questions our responsibility.
1 No matter how often we fail, we must never give up because God is with us to strengthen and sustain us. He has promised to never leave or forsake us.
2 God has a plan for our lives. Are we going to fulfill our destiny and be all we can be for His Glory?
3 Have I given my gifts and talents and used them to help others?
4 I am nothing, and yet I am everything. Yes myself I am nothing yet in Jesus I am everything I need to be.
5 I am right with God through Jesus Christ?
6 I can do all things I need to do, everything God calls me to do through His Son Jesus Christ.

Here are a list of six confessions that help us to gain a biblical self image and there are more. Can I invite you to join in with me and see which one we need to focus on most today.

Love you all God Bless 🙌 ❤️ 🙏

What a great time we had together Sunday for our first Ignite Sunday school of the term. We have started a series all about Moses which we will be covering all through September and October. This week we looked at the story of the burning bush. Through games and crafts and age appropriate groups, our main focus was that God will be with the young people wherever they go.

Our bible memory verse this week is:

"Do not be afraid or discouraged, for I, the Lord your God, am with you wherever you go."

Joshua 1:9

The children learnt this by copying emojis and remembering what each emoji represents. Parents, Why not test them to see if they remember it? 😁

Here are some pics from a really fun time together. And we look forward to seeing them all again this Sunday 12-1pm.

Good morning God Bless you 🙏

Believing And Receiving

Romans 4 v 20
"His faith did not leave him and he did not doubt God’s promise. His faith filled him with power and he gave praise to God."

Song 748. SASB
"Day by day the manna fell O to learn this lesson
well. Still by constant mercy fed, Give me Lord my daily bread.

Day by day the promise reads. Daily strength for daily needs. Cast foreboding fears away. Take the manna of today.

Lord my times are in Thy Hand. All my sanguine hopes have planned, to Thy wisdom I resign and would make Thy purpose mine.

Thou my daily tasks shall give. Day by day to Thee I live. So shall added years fulfill not my own, my Father’s will.

O to live exempt from care by the energy of prayer. Strong in faith with mind subdued yet elate with gratitude."

Psalm 78 v 24
"God commanded Heaven’s doors to open, sending down manna for them to eat."

I love to thank God every morning for the gift of another day and offer myself to whatever He has planned for me. Thanking Him not just for a portion of my day but my whole self. Not just one hour on a Sunday morning but myself. Not just a portion but all. I lay myself before my Heavenly Father and allow Him to have full control.
When we consecrate something we set it apart for God’s use. Therefore when we consecrate our lives we turn our backs on our freshly desires and everything else that does not agree with God’s Word. Consecration may not be easy but it's better than sin and disobedience.
When we consecrate our lives to the Lord we give Him everything we are, but we should also know that we give Him everything we are not. Yes, God knows everything about us so it's important to hold nothing back from Him. Let go of everything as an offering to The Lord and its amazing how free you feel.
Lets Just lift our hands to Him today and simple say, Lord I give myself totally to you today, everything I am and everything I am not. I am entirely in Your Hands.

Love you all God Bless 🙌 ❤️ 🙏

Experience Under Pressure

Matthew 23 v 4
"They tie unto people's backs loads that are too heavy to carry. Yet they are not willing even to lift a finger to help them."

One of the many ways we can love people is to allow them to be who they are. What I mean by this is that we shouldn't Pressure others to be or do anything. We should accept who God has created them to be and what He has called them to do.
We often expect more out of people than they are able to give, and when we continue to put pressure on them over a period of time, our relationship with them will fail. Yes we should expect the best of people but at the same time we need to remember that they are only human.
When we want people to change we cannot accomplish that by pressuring or nagging them. For change to be lasting it must come from inside. Only God can affect that kind of heart change in someone. But one thing is for sure, God won't change people when we are trying to change them. He has a "hands off" policy when working in human lives. Yes if we keep our hands off He is able to work.
I say this through personal experience and I hope you understand it.

Song 887. SASB
"Once I thought I walked with Jesus, yet such changefull feelings had. Sometimes trusting, sometimes doubting, sometimes joyful sometimes sad.

But He called me closer to Him, bade my doubts and fears all cease. And when I had fully yielded, filled my soul with perfect peace.

Now I'm trusting every moment; nothing less can be enough. And my Saviour bears me gently o'er the places once so rough.

O the peace my Saviour gives. Peace I never knew before. And my way has brighter grown. Since I learned to trust Him more."

John 14 v 27
"Peace is what I leave with you. It is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried or upset. Do not be afraid."

Love you all God Bless 🙌 ❤️ 🙏
