Open Table Wigan is a member of the Open Table Network which is a partnership of Christian worship communities which offer a warm, affirming welcome to people who are: Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r / Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA) and all who seek an inclusive Church. Open Table aims to create a safe sacred space for you to explore your faith and what it means for you. Open

Table began in Liverpool in June 2008. Now Open Table communities gather across the UK, hosted by inclusive churches in different Christian traditions. At Open Table Wigan, we are pleased to host and invite you to a strawberry tea this Sunday night at 6:30pm at St James Poolstock. Scones, jam & cream, tea & coffee all for free. We'll also be having Holy Communion so please do feel free to join us as we encounter Jesus together in a safe and inclusive space.

Hi Folks,
As a reminder there's no Open Table this week as all the clergy & wardens are required at the archdeacon visitation service tonight. We're hoping to have two Open Table services in July. Details will be posted on this page.

You are warmly invited to our Easter Vigil on Saturday night as we have the first celebration of the Resurrection. This is our first Vigil at Open Table and we are delighted to offer it in partnership with the St James Centre (Poolstock). Doors open at 6pm with the service starting at 6:30pm and refreshments after.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that made this happen last night from the kitchen volunteers to the servers and the speakers last night you all made everyone feel so welcome I had nothing but great remarks from everyone I spoke to and finally special thanks to englands butchers for donating the meat for last night and also to toms pantry for helping with the veg tables may god bless you this Christmas and new year see you all soon.
