As many of you know, social action has always been at the front of what we do and The Brick Homeless charity was founded here at Queens Hall. Last Sunday, Keeley Dalfen the CEO of The Brick, gave an excellent talk on radio 4, giving examples of poverty and homelessness in the context of power and judgement. You can hear it here.

Our cafe runs on volunteers, and we are always very grateful for them. Jocelynne has been with us every Tuesday for a long while and last Tuesday she left us with tears, because her back has been giving her pain. She has loved the job, the friendship and all the customer interaction. We will miss her warm smile and caring ways. Thank you Jocelynne!
