ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: TUESDAYS 6:15pm–7:15pm

Adoration of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament continues tomorrow, and each Tuesday from 6:15pm - 7:15pm, in St Patrick’s Church. All are very welcome to spend this hour with the Lord. Benediction will be given at 7:05pm, followed by Mass at 7:30pm and an opportunity for Confessions.

No First Friday Rosary today due to preparatory work in the Sanctuary;

No 9am clean scheduled. May change depending on work in the sanctuary.

A WELL-NEEDED CLEAN!
We are indebted to the many volunteers who carry out a host of unseen tasks behind the scenes, helping our church to run smoothly and preserving the beauty of our sacred building. One such task, which often goes unnoticed, is the cleaning of the Sanctuary Lamp holder.

The difference can be seen in these before-and-after photographs. Our sincere thanks to those who generously give their time to undertake this work. Your dedication and care is greatly appreciated.

ADVANCE NOTICE: HOLY HOUR ON THE SOLEMNITY OF THE SACRED HEART

On Friday 12th June at 7.00pm, there will be a Holy Hour at St Patrick’s Church to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will conclude with the Litany of the Sacred Heart and an Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. All are warmly welcome.

COFFEE MORNING THIS SUNDAY:
Our next Coffee Morning will be this Sunday, 31st May, after the 9:15am Mass in the Lappin Room. Please leave donations in the bowls provided. Everyone is welcome.

SACRISTY TO REOPEN

From this Sunday, the Sacristy will once again be available for use. Thank you to Karen and Patrick McLoughlin for their hard work this week in cleaning and preparing the Sacristy for reopening. With new flooring having been laid in some areas, the amount of dust involved has made the clean-up operation no mean feat!

Decoration works will continue in the coming weeks and months as part of the wider programme of planned restoration works. The temporary confessional will also return to the Sacristy from Tuesday 2nd June.

We give heartfelt thanks for Archbishop John’s first year among us as our Shepherd, and for his Visitation in March, whose blessings continue to be felt throughout our parish family to this day.
