This week marks Loneliness Awareness Week (15-21 June). The Hub, hosted by volunteers from Church, went on a wonderful days outing aboard The Floating Grace in Liverpool. Laughter, sunshine, good company & lunch helped everyone to really enjoy themselves. The Hub meets every other Wednesday in Hough Green Social Club 1-3pm and new members are always welcome!

Todays funeral for John Geddes was filled with love, respect, thanksgiving, laughter & tears...what a life & what a man! Attached is the video that we showed in church celebrating all his achievements! The music is the theme from the 1956 Olympics at which John competed & won a bronze medal in the team pursuit. May John Rest in Peace & Rise in Glory! Please keep John's wife, Jean & children, Martin, Helen & Rachael and grandchildren in your prayers. Thank you. xx
