Today, more poppies were delivered to church by Pam Leadbetter & her friend Sheila, ready to be passed on to our friends St. Mary's Church, West Bank, Widnes for their Poppy Appeal. They’re working towards creating 10,000 poppies to cover the church tower! Do you knit? Could you lend a hand? xx

Today we said our goodbyes to Marie Hopkins. A beautiful lady from our church & community. At the grand old age of 99years, she spent her life 'keeping busy!' From being a member of the Mother's Union at church, flower arranging, ballroom dancing & needlework - the photo of the hassock (kneeler) is one that Marie made & it's still used in church. May this faithful servant truly rest in peace! xx
