Today Adventurers began their Summer Holidays with the amazing blessing and prayers of our Prayer Shawl Ministry Team @ All Saints Whitstable 🧶🙏🐻

A prayer shawl/bear is far more than a beautifully knitted or crocheted gift. Every stitch is made with love, prayer, and the hope that the person/child receiving it will know God's presence in a very real and personal way.

For generations, shawls have symbolised warmth, welcome, and God's unconditional love that embraces everyone. They gently wrap around those who are grieving, unwell, lonely, anxious, or facing difficult times, offering comfort, reassurance, and the reminder that they are never alone. Like a warm hug, they offer shelter, peace, and encouragement, helping people find strength to rise above life's challenges with renewed hope.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry Team also lovingly creates Prayer Bears for children. These soft companions are prayed over before they are given, reminding young hearts that God is always with them wherever they go, bringing comfort, courage, and the assurance that they are deeply loved by God.

Today, as our Sunday Club begins its summer break, each child received a Prayer Bear/ Mantle to take home. We are very grateful for these amazing gifts and hope these little bears and mantle will be a special reminder of God's love throughout the holidays.❤️🥰🙏💗

Take your Prayer Bear/Mantle with you on your summer adventures - to the beach, on holiday, to the park, on walks, picnics, family visits, or anywhere Summer 2026 takes you! Snap a photo of your bear along the way and create a Prayer Bear Photo Diary of all the exciting places it has visited and the adventures it has shared with you.

We'd love to see your photos and celebrate your adventures on our return from Summer Holidays - 1st Sunday of September Sunday School (which is also the day of our Back to School BBQ) 😍😍😍

We pray that every Prayer Bear and Prayer Mantle will continue to remind you of God's love, surrounded by prayer, and held safely in His care.

🌊🐚 What a wonderful morning at our Sea & Shells Beach Day! ⛱️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a lovely event. It was wonderful to see our children and families enjoying the day so much we didn't finish till 2pm. ☺️🙏☺️

We hunted for shells and pebbles, built sea creature monsters and drew smily faces, played games, got creative, shared laughter, and spent time picnicking by the sea.
It was such joyful time 🥰☺️⛱️🙏

Thank you to our Sue Stokes and Carol Bristow for your amazing help. And thank you to our lovely families who joined us.

At Sunday school today we crafted a special card to give to Father Chris on his 40th anniversary from his ordination. 😊💗☀️🙏
We got a lovely photo with him too. 📸 🖼 🤳😊

Our Carol Bristow shared an article and photo of the Young Saints youth group Father Chris used to lead back in 1984/85. Perhaps you will recognise yourself in the photo?? If you do send us a comment 👍✨️
