Whitley Bay Baptist Church We're a family friendly church, offering a warm welcome each Sunday, and throughout the week. Join us at Park Avenue, or online.

We meet for worship at 10.00am each Sunday, at our Park Avenue premises in Whitley Bay. Our services are geared towards all ages, with age-specific activities for children and young people, as well as creche facilities. We have been worshipping together, wherever we are, via YouTube but now the message each Sunday will be available on YouTube at around midday and links will be found on our social media. Let's pray for all those involved, in any way, or impacted by the accident at Big Church Festival.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.
