As we head into the colder months, here is a reminder of what we accept as donations 🛒

✅In-date non-perishable foods such as tinned soup and UHT milk are used to pack our emergency food parcels, and treats such as chocolate and sweets are considered 'extras' and are offered to clients in our centres🥫

❌We can't take fresh food (including apples during autumn), bleach (and bleach-containing products) and aerosol products. We also can't accept alcohol or items containing alcohol🍏

Well that was an easy one wasn't it? 🤣
The close up was indeed part of the font inside St Bridget's church. It was given by Rev Alfred Warris in memory of his wife who he must have thought a lot of!
🤔 Do you remember when the font was located at the back of the church next to where the toilet door is now?
🤔 And do you know that we have three fonts in the church? A font from the medieval church is located in the porch next to the inner doors with another one opposite it from the Mission church at Moresby Parks. Often they have flower arrangements in them so you are forgiven for not noticing!

A Special Evening of Music & Friendship 🎶

We are so excited to invite you to a very special evening of music on Friday, 23rd October at 7:00 PM, hosted in the beautiful Moresby Church.

As many of you know, we have the absolute honour of hosting our French twin-town friends, the Conservatoire Choir from Val-de-Reuil, later this season. To help us support their activities and make their visit truly unforgettable, we’ve put together a fantastic concert for our community.

By joining us for this concert, you are directly helping us welcome our French guests and support this brilliant cultural exchange. It’s going to be a wonderful, relaxed night of music and community with a raffle to round things off! Moresby Church is also kindly providing refreshments at the end of the evening.

Come along on Saturday 19th September for a good old sing along.....the songs you sang in school assemblies! Morning has broken, give me oil in my lamp and many more!
Doors open at 5.30pm with a 6pm start! Tea and coffee available afterwards....free entry but any donations gratefully received for our church refurbishment fund!
