Here in the Parish we have three beautiful Churches where a warm welcome awaits all. There is also plenty of spaces to sit quietly, say a prayer, light a candle, or enjoy fellowship.

10.00am Eucharist at St Hilda’s, The Lady Chapel
10.30am to Noon Coffee Morning
11.45am Celtic Prayer at St Hilda’s, The Lady Chapel

Thursday 11th June
10.00am Eucharist at St John’s

Friday 12th June 10.00am Morning Prayer in St Hilda’s, The Lady Chapel

Saturday 13th June
10.30am Eucharist at St Mary’s, in the 12th Century Chancel, which dates back to 1110, and is the oldest building in Whitby. Followed by Coffee and Fellowship.

Sunday 14th June Second Sunday after Trinity

9.30am Eucharist at St Hilda’s
10.30am Folk Service at St John’s
11.15am Eucharist at St Mary’s

St Mary’s Visitors opening hours are 10.00am to 4pm Monday to Friday, 11.30am to 4pm Saturday and 1pm to 4pm Sunday. Last entry on all days at 3.45pm. The Church may be occasionally closed during these times for a funeral, wedding, school talk.

There will be a Parish Mass tomorrow at St Mary’s at 10.00am. No services at St Hilda’s or St John’s.

Car Parking will be available on the grassed area between the Church and the Abbey.
