A pleasure to welcome Oscar and mum Mary as visitors to our service ringing this morning. Oscar caught the bellringing bug from a Heritage Open Day at Whalley a few years ago. He rang rounds and call changes on 8 and plain hunt doubles on the treble. A future tower captain in the making!

Just completed our 6 monthly bell service and clean up today at Whalley. All maintenance check lists filled in and all is well with the bells! Many thanks to everyone on the team today and especially to Lynne for the fantastic lunch!

A call changes training course last night at Whalley enjoyed by all. Theory and practical session all about call changes, the first step on away from rounds. Multi-tasking and thinking about something else except ringing a bell proved to be a challenge! First use of our new training computer and big screen.
