A pleasure to welcome Oscar and mum Mary as visitors to our service ringing this morning. Oscar caught the bellringing bug from a Heritage Open Day at Whalley a few years ago. He rang rounds and call changes on 8 and plain hunt doubles on the treble. A future tower captain in the making!

Just completed our 6 monthly bell service and clean up today at Whalley. All maintenance check lists filled in and all is well with the bells! Many thanks to everyone on the team today and especially to Lynne for the fantastic lunch!

Celebrating Australia day at the Ribble Valley practice at Whalley tonight. Many thanks to Judith for the traditional Snags (sausage and bread) to keep us all sustained during the ringing and finished off with a small can of Fosters!
