Description:

The debate about trans people has become incredibly toxic. The Supreme Court Judgment of April 2025 has had major repercussions for the lives of transpeople in the UK. Each day brings a new report about trans activists or anti-trans activists.

In the Everyday Normal sessions, Sarah explores the reality of being trans and of being outed as the first person to be ordained by the Church of England having previously made a gender change. We'll think about the issues and the concerns of today and we'll look to the future to see what that might hold.��We'll laugh together. We might cry. Everyday Normal is a life-affirming session for anyone who would like an entertaining exploration and who would like to understand trans issues for themselves.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow for the 190th birthday, sadly we have had significant water come in through the roof and damage the Lady Chapel which will now be closed off until the roof can be repaired.

Our Organ Open Morning is a special opportunity for you to experience our wonderful Walker Organ. Built in 1903, you will learn more about its history and how it works. Our organist Gary will be on hand to answer any questions and show you the inner workings. You will also enjoy some beautiful organ music or even have a go at playing under Gary’s supervision.

This is a free event but donations towards our organ maintenance fund would be greatly appreciated.

Holy Trinity Memories Needed!!!

This August the harbourside church will have stood sentinel over the Town Bridge for 190 years and a special birthday calls for a special celebration. If you have any memories to share of Holy Trinity church - from weddings to air raids, from christenings to concerts - they will be gratefully received and added to an exhibition for display at a celebration to be held in church on Saturday 29th August at 10 am.
